Geocache Description:

This Cache is located on the N.E. side of Lizard Rock in the Santa Catalina Mountains north of Tucson AZ.

There are two pullout parking areas near the base of lizard rock. I suggest you climb up the north end of the mountain. Caution this is very rocky with no designated trail. It is steep with lots of loose gravel and dirt.

When you get to the coordinates there is a pine tree with an eight to ten inch trunk and a manzanita bush at the base. ENE (east north east) of that is a large boulder with another manzanits bush on the other side of it. the cash is located under the edge of that boulder. It is wedged in by large rocks so it will not wash down the mountain so put it back that way.

This is a three inch black pvc pipe about 12 inches long with sealed ends to keep it dry. One end has a screw in lid that should only be tightened hand tight so others can open it.

This cache is the home of the Lizard Travel Bug. Inside are lots of goodies including some contume jewelry.

The view from this cache is spectacular.
