This is a traditional cache with an Ammo Can at the final
destination. This cache is easy enough for all ages. There is
plenty of parking at the west bound rest stop on I-20. The cache is
within 500 ft. of the parking area. DO NOT CLIMB ANY FENCES!! This
cache was placed to provide west bound travelers a reason to take a
break. Be aware of Muggles as this is a resting spot for truckers.
If you are not familiar with west Texas and the Permain Basin, the
view from here is an unusual one. There is a large number of HUGE
tanks. The locals have called this the "Midland Tank Farm" for
years. Enjoy the break. Enjoy the view. Be Safe.
I had to change this to a Decon container since the Ammo can
came up missing. If this stays for a while, I'll bring out another
Ammo can.
This cache was placed by members of the Wing Nuts. This is a group
of cachers that primarily do their cacheing aboard Gold Wing
motorcycles. So if you're out cacheing and see some big motorcycles
that look lost, it's probably us out cacheing!!
