Located at the mountain over Ano Glyfada, this cache located at 830 meters above sea level is a nice climbing experience.
The cache is a traditional cache hidden very well near the peak of a rock that can be seen from a long distance away.
The cache contains a log book, a pen and a pencil at a separate bag that is not for trading.There are also lots of small items for trading.Initially I have included and a travel bug that I recently found.
The area of the cache is at the south-east suburb of Athens, called Glyfada.More specific, it is the upper part of the suburb that is by the mountain.The bus line A4 ends its route nearby.So you can park your car near the coordinates N37 53.611 E023 47157 and then start climbing the mountain.There is no concrete path, you have to trust yourself and your GPS.The climbing experience is not an easy one.So be prepared and have with you lots of water because you become thisty so fast!Also good climbing boots are a must.
Once you find the cache, log your visit and trade some item(s), you can enjoy the view from the rock! From the eastern side you will discover that a pine-tree wood is located there and a few people know about it !
From the south side you can enjoy the view of the southern suburbs of Athens and also the islands of Aegina, Salamina and if the weather is clear you can even see Pelloponissos.
