Geocache Description:

Located just off the Portreath to Devoran Tramway Trail, near the village of Bissoe.

You are looking for a 1 litre, painted lock and lock container placed just off the trail, This area is very popular with walkers, cyclists, horse riders Etc so please be aware when replacing the cache. The cache is placed so you should be able to retrieve it without being in direct view of the trail. In summer gloves might be a good idea. If you park at Bissoe there is a cycle hire/cafe there but a £3 parking fee if you`re not hiring a bike. Arsenic was dug and refined in this valley until the second world war and the streams are still contaminated with it! Please keep children & dogs away from the water. . ***Jan.2011 - The cache seems to have moved slightly following the opening of a new path through the treatment works, clue updated.***
