The Gauntlet Multi-Cache

Golfnutz: With all the DNFs I figured this one was missing. That was not the case as all parts of this cache were there. The GPSr put me within 10' of the final but it still took 10 minutes of hard searching to locate it.
We are archiving this cache to get our hides to a more managable number.
It also opens up a spot for someone to place a new cache here.
Thanks to all who found this one.

gauntlet : to offer a challenge; "threw down the gauntlet”



You are seeking a 30 cal ammo box that is no longer O.D. green. Stage one and two are……….well when you find them you will know that they redirect you to the next stage.

This cache is a difficult three stage multi. It was designed to be difficult to find and we think it is very well hidden. That is why it is rated so high.

We suggest good shoes and perhaps a walking stick when seeking this cache.

This cache is placed in Horsehead Park on property of the U.S Army Corps Of Engineers with permission.

Placing a geocache for you to find is not an inexpensive endeavor in time or money. Please repay the cache owner by writing a log about your experience with this cache. The more you write the better we like it.
