The cache is by a mid-Byzantine church called Panagh tu Kira
Kilisesi near the town of Mehmetcik in the middle of the Karpasia
Peninsula.
You can get to about 100m from the church in a normal car as
long as you are careful. The track eventually gets replaced by a
field so you will have to park and walk.
The church is worth looking inside as there is still a small
piece of the original ceiling painting.
The nearby hill is more easily scaled from the right-hand side but
is not suitable for pushchairs/wheelchairs. It gives a marvelous
view of the Karpas mountains.
This is first cache on this part of the island. It is a standard
airtight plastic tub.
