The dates on three different monuments at this hilltop college will give you clues to the cache location.
The coordinates given will take you to the "Old Stone Face". The date on the plaque will give you A, B, C, and D.
Next find the statue of St. Anselm at N 42 deg 59.117 and W 71 deg 30.412 This will give you eight more digits: E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L.
Now, find the statue of St. Benedict at N 42 deg 59.147 and W 71 deg 30.484 This will give you six more digits: M,N,O,P,Q,R.

Thanks are due to "Grampa Cardigan" as the original hider of this classic cache.
The solid-rock-seekers (who found the cache in the year it was published, back on 12 September 2006) adopted the cache in 2022 to maintain it for future generations of cachers to enjoy. The 16-year-old container was replaced with a very similar one that will hopefully last another 16 years!
In July 2022, the coordinates of the locations to gather information were added as explicit waypoints to aid future finders, parking waypoints were added, the coordinates for the final were updated due to the prior coordinates being significantly off (as reported by many cachers in old logs), and a geochecker was added to enable cachers to confirm their coordinates before looking for the final.
