This cache will bring you to a beautiful, clear-water pond tucked
away in the foot hills of Central Maine.

Branch Pond is a beautiful pond tucked away in Palermo. The cache
has been placed on an island and the only way to access it is over
the water from the public boat launch. The cache is over 1.6
miles--as the crow flies-- away from the landing making it great
for kayaking and boating as well as snowshoeing and skiing. Of
course those with four wheelers and snowmobiles can also access
this. The only legal access is from the boat landing. I
don't have, therefore no one has implied permission to cross over
other folks property. Please park at the boat landing or obtain
permission from the landowner you intend to cross. The cache is an
ammo box with trade stuff and a log book. I placed the cache
January 12, but would like to stress using caution while being on
the ice, especially with the recent rain and warm weather. The
Entrance to the boat launch is off of the Branch Mills Road at
coordinates N44 24.498 W069 28.386 and parking is just a
short way down that road. Please enjoy!!!
