This geocache is located near the South Beach Marina on Newport’s Yaquina Bay. Tied up at the nearby docks are mostly recreational boats, along with a few commercial charters. Just to the west of this cache location is a public pier, which extends out over the bay alongside the Yaquina Bay Bridge. You can walk out on this pier almost to the middle of the bay and watch the boats go by, do a little fishing, or throw a crab ring or two in the water.
Oh yeah, the cache. This is a micro, and the name is really the only clue you need. I have included a little hint, however, just in case you need it. Remember to bring along a pen to sign the log.
