Geocache Description:

A hike along a powerline and ATV trail. Some elevation change, but anyone that can walk a flight of stairs can do it.

This is a nice 3-mile round trip hike entirely on SGL #91 in Luzerne County. This is one of my favorite hunting grounds with some really nice views. I used to ride my mountain bike up here alot. Along your way you may see bears, deer, turkey, coyotes, etc. Wear your orange if attempting this during hunting season. Even though there are ATV trails up here, I must remind you that riding ATV's on SGL's is illegal. I park at N41 12.530 W75 47.359 when hunting or hiking. Some people may want to park at N41 12.433 W75 47.453 which is near a park/playground. This is a 2 part multi-leg cache. Finding Part #1 will give you coordinates to the final cache. Here you will find the reason for the name of the cache. There are a couple of wet spots along the way but you can easily navigate your way around them. You begin the hunt by walking up a powerline with a couple of small inclines. Nothing drastic, a nice easy walk. When you get to the top of the hill follow the ATV trail on your right to Part #1 which is a camoflauged and hidden pill container. You will then follow this trail to the finish. Along the way, stay to the right when you get to a fork in the trail. The cache is a .50cal ammo can filled with lots of goodies. There is a FTF prize of a DVD and lottery ticket. Please re-hide the cache the way it was found. At all stages my GPSr read an accuracy of 15 feet. Part #1 is within 5 feet of the trail. **The PGC has opened the lower gate for hunting season which allows you to drive up to N41 12.962 W75 47.174 and park. The lower gate will be open from 9/17/2007 to 2/9/2008. This will take about 1-mile (one way) off your hike.**
