Geocache Description:

A very easy access cache, within reach of a paved walk-way with multiple street access.

Hamilton was first settled on an area of swampy lands with many streams and gullies. A number of these deep watercourses caused the settlers lots of problems getting about, and are now parks, with walking and cycling parks.

This is a traditional cache in one of the lesser-known gully trails through the quiet south-western suburbs, in an area where the nearby streets are named after beautiful lakes and rushing rivers in the South Island.

The cache started with a collection of 12 race-cars, and a new travel bug wanting to go to the real Lake Te Anau, plus a fishing fly that could perhaps go with the TB. The container is a 2 litre “Sistema” box so has lots of room for your exchange contributions and a log book and pencil is included for you to record your visit.
