Geocache Description:

For 25 years straight (updated January 2008) my family has attended the nearby caravan park in the first two weeks of January with no real sign of slowing down! A lot has changed since then with more housing estates popping up than there is room for! Still this place holds a special place in my memories that’s for sure!!!

You should be at the drive on entrance to the beach. Depending on which day will determine on whether you will have to pay, and depending on the time will depend on whether you are allowed ‘in’ but no matter what time of day you can always walk to this cache. Please don’t work out cords then crash (or fall) your way down the cliffs… you can get to the cache FROM the beach without a huge walk

Pictured above from L-R are Ty and T (brother/sister in law Voogoo) Mrs, Mr and Baby Voogoo, Andy (no relation) and Father Voogoo just after placing the original geocache in 2006!

Answer one question below and you will know the location

All you need to do is take a wander around the ‘new’(ish) Surf Life Saving Club, and two colours that create feature walls on the club will jump out at you. One colour will be ‘longer’ (ie a long word) and the other colour will be ‘shorter.’

If A=1, B=2, C=3 (etc) work out the colour letters you need and the numbers that will get you to GZ. Both numbers are double figures.

35 (3rd letter of the ‘longest’ colour).816 South

138 (1st letter of the ‘shortest’ colour… then add 10 to that number) .206 East

Take it easy @ GZ (the last 15 metres can be negotiated in both a good and bad way… look before you scramble) Good luck

the replacement cache is pretty thin on the ground for stuff so if you like you can add to it!
