Follow either the
yellow or blue trails. Both will get you here. The blue trail will
take you closer to the stream and take just a few minutes longer
but is worth it. They merge back together and continue as the
yellow trail.
As you near the cache location, the trail all but disappears. It
becomes very narrow and will be extremely slippery when wet. I
would not bring small children to this cache. The trail ends just
beyond the cache although you can see a bridge crossing the stream
not far ahead. That is Lochmere Golf Club property and you must NOT
approach the cache from that direction.
The cache is easy to find, and you may have a nice view from the
cache location, but it can be dangerous to get to. Use caution and
do not attempt this if you feel it would be unsafe for you. Even
though it is easy to find, please recover well with available
material to avoid accidental discovery. I drove some sticks into
the ground around the cache to help hold it in place during heavy
rains. If they seem to be coming out, put a few more in.
