The story is told by just about everyone in Jackson and surrounding
towns. On Harts Bridge Road there used to be an old iron bridge.
Late one night a young woman on her way to see her boyfriend when
she ran through the bridge and was decapitated. It is said that if
you go there late at night, you can see the headless woman
searching for her boyfriend. That is supposed to be why the road is
now called Harts Bridge Road. Supposedly you have to go at 12:00
midnight to see anything...To see it you suppose to turn the car
off, honk the horn, flash the lights and turn the windshield wipers
on...
