Easy access cache – great for families – available at night (if you
are daring enough!) At the first set of coordinates, you will find
a monument dedicated to the United Mine Workers of America (UMWOA)
and their establishment in Morganville, WA (this location was once
considered Morganville – not Black Diamond). The actual monument is
encased in cement.
Waypoint 1: The year the UMWOA was established? (On the
plaque)
May 15th, __(a)__(b)__(c)__(d)
Fill in the blanks to get the second set of coordinates(and go
there for your next step of the multi):
N 47 __(a)8.637 W 122 __(c)__(c). __(b)__(d)__(b)
Waypoint 2: At this more personal monument, use the dates on the
stone to fill in the blanks below using the code to find the cache
location:
The year of death was __(a)__(b)__(a)__(g) The age of the deceased
at death: __(e)__(f)
Final: Fill in the appropriate numbers in order to find the
final cache:
N 47 __(a)__(g).__(f)__(g)3 W 122 0 __(a).004
The final cache is at this location. You are looking for a
micro-sized container. Please bring a pen. Happy caching.
Update: We found out recently that this cemetery is being
investigated by the WSPIR (Washington State Paranormal
Investigation and Research) group. Maybe those goose bumps you
experience while walking through during your visit aren’t just
coming from the cold air! Wooooo……..
