What: Potluck Geocaching Get-Together.
When: Sunday February 19th, 6:00pm - ?
Who: All geocachers in Manitoba! Whether you’ve found 300 caches or 3, everyone is welcome!
Where: At the posted co-ordinates! (here’s a hint – it’s a Church in Fort Garry!)
It’s going to be a potluck so we can still eat, drink (sorry, it’s not licensed for the hard stuff) and be merry, and talk about Geocaching! Please bring some food to share – appetizer-type, or dessert type (homemade or store bought, we are not fussy). Or, you could bring an item from the “extras” list (Plates/napkins/pickles/chips & dip, etc) if you don’t want to prepare something. Soft drinks and coffee will be provided. The church has a microwave and two stoves for our use.
The church is charging us a (very) small room-usage fee, and we’ll need to pay for the drinks, so there will be a collection plate available. (It will definitely be cheaper than in a restaurant, though!!)
Also there is a large gym-type room with toys, and a separate nursery, so feel free to bring the younguns’! We are hoping to put together a plan for some activities but we’ll do that only if some children are going to attend.
Travel Bug trading is encouraged so please post a note to the listing here if you plan on bring any TB’s for pickup.
Please post a note here if you plan on attending and tell us how many are in your group, and what you plan to bring (the type of food, you don’t have to specify what exactly). And, let us know if you’re bringing children (and their age(s)). Also, please add this to your "watchlist" in case new information gets added to the listing. This way, everybody is kept informed.
