Geocache Description:

The cache is a Large Ammo Can. The cache Hiding place is within sight of the paved highway and some bushwacking is required. This cache is on posted private land, however, the land is still owned by our family and geocacher's may enter to find the cache.

This cache is placed in tribute to my Father. He was known throughout this valley as Samuel Selin Smeltz. To some he was called "Sam", some called him "Selin" and other just called him. He ran an auto repair shop across the street called "Sleepy Bills Place" which his Father started. "Sleepy Bill purchased this land and later Sam lived here. Sam was a fun guy and used to call this his "North Forty", known to his family as the "SSS Ponderosa." Sam was known for the lane into the property, which was embellished with all kinds of Signs to humor his visitor's.

For the First to find there is a new travel bug tab for you to launch a new travel bug. There are also several small cars, some of which Sam would have worked on in his shop for you to take and place in other caches.
