Just north of Kobe is a little moutain, Kikusui-yama, that offers a great view of Kobe and more. There is a paved pathway to the top and it's easy to follow.
The top is about forty minutes, give or take, from the nearest train station, Suzurandai, on the Kobe Dentetsu railway. From Kobe you can get to the Dentetsu railway using Hankyu or Hanshin and changing at Shinkaichi.
From Suzurandia station follow the road, south, down the tracks and head to N 34 43.010' E 135 08.848', this is the start of the trail, just follow the paved maintenance road and head up. There is a little parking here if you drive.
There are some benches at the top, a nice place for lunch if you bring it. Bring a camera too.
The cache is a dark green ammo box with a bunch of goodies and log book. This a popular place for hikers so watch out for muggles while getting and hiding the cache.
