Geocache Description:

This is the northern edge of a interesting area of Oklahoma called Gloss or Glass Mountains. It has to do with the minerals in it that kind of look like glass. You might say this area is the foothills. The hills in the area are mostly red clay but the rocks on top or caprock are gyp rock. These hills were formed millions of years ago when this used to be an inland sea. You can see the sediment layers if you look closely. These hills get bigger and longer the further south you go from here.

The cache is 5 X 10 metal camoflage painted cylinder (even though it is not camoflage for the terrain)with the usual log book and some little toys listed below.

The starting items in this cache are: toy helicopter, U. S. Flag magnet, care bear, spiderman pen, tiki necklace, navy stickers, plastic bug, log book, pencil and geocache note.
