El Tour de Tucson is one of the country's premier
perimeter bicycling events and is a major charity fundraiser, with
over $25 million raised since the first El Tour was held in
1983.
During the 39th mile, the route continues north along Freeman
Road and turns west onto Speedway Blvd.
