Geocache Description:

A nice 1.9 mile round trip hike, BUT NOTE THE WARNINGS BELOW!

Please read this carefully first, especially the RULES AND WARNINGS below! There are a few important cautions and tips you need to know!
This cache is placed to honor the fun my brother, Froebeli, and I have had geocaching. We just returned from a long weekend where I did 49 caches. I realized how little I was giving BACK to geocaching, so I resolved to plant a lot of caches. Enjoy the hike! Please sign the log. Most important is to follow the RULES and WARNINGS in the sections below so you don’t get into trouble! Park in the obvious area. IMPORTANT: approach the cache by taking the trail in a CLOCKWISE direction! There is private property blocking the access in the other direction, so DON’T TRY IT! It does make a longer walk, but it’s just over 0.9 mile to the cache which is about 10 feet off the trail. Be discreet, as this is a busy park, and many GeoMuggles are about, especially during warm weather. Please rehide the cache carefully, and return to site to its original state! You’ll want the next person to experience the find as you did, right?! And don’t give any clues when you log your find! If you fish, bring your Pocket Fisherman. You can catch largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, common carp, channel catfish and musky. Catch-and-release size limits and take limits apply. You’ll need your Virginia fishing license, and follow the rules on the signs there. RULES AND WARNINGS: 1. Go CLOCKWISE to get to the final cache! 2. Don’t cross fences! It’s not necessary! 3. This is the South, where Northern beasties come for longer feeding seasons and plants come to live longer! We have chiggers and ticks, Tiggers and chicks, snakes, skunks, mud, briars, poison ivy (watch out for fuzzy vines climbing trees!) and all manner of creepy-crawlies! Have fun, be careful and pack out some trash with you!
