This is a full on bush bash to find this. You can ride a mtb within a couple of kms or so but you would need to hide your bike in the bush to finish the last section. This is not really a cache to do on a hot summers day, there are no water sources in the immediate vicinity of the cache. Although there are a couple of fair size creeks with nice deep pools, ideal for an apres cache swim, a couple of kms away.
The cache is a 4l ice cream bucket. It is placed out of direct sight so you will need to do some searching to find it. There are a few rocks placed around the container, these are to stop high winds and/or animals from shifting it. Please replace the rocks after your visit. Take drinking water with you on your search for this cache, as you have a fairly strenuous walk to get to the site. The cache site is a good spot to watch the sun set, particularly if there is a decent sort of cloud scape as a backdrop, take a camera with you.
Some one has set up a marked trail of cairns, following these (if you find them) will get you into the cache location (but not help you find it). Please leave the cairns as you find them.
