Geocache Description:

Motorway Mayhem caches are intended to provide fairly easy drive-by caches together with useful “just-off” motorway information for travellers who are in need of a break or seek alternatives to the typical motorway service station type fare and prices. It is hoped this series and concept will grow as other cachers add further caches along the length and breadth of Britain’s Motorways
THE ABOVE COORDS ARE NOT THE CORRECT LOCATION OF THIS CACHE ...READ ON

This cache is part of a series of 3 caches around Junctions 43 to 48 of the M1 near Leeds in West Yorkshire.

In order to find this cache you will first have to find one of the other caches.
Motorway Mayhem M1 J44
Motorway Mayhem M1 J47

All the caches are situated very close to motorway junctions and can be accessed by both East or Westbound travellers. The terrain on all (except the last bit to the bonus cache) is on paved paths so suits/stilettos (not necessarily together) can be worn and wheelchairs should be ok. In fact you can park right next to most of them!

The container at each cache contains the coordinates required to find the Bonus cache which is situated somewhere along this stretch of junctions … you will have to visit either of them first to gather the information needed to find the bonus cache.
They are all caches in their own right and count as 'finds'.

Westbound on the A63 towards Leeds is a complex of 'services'.
Sainsburys has a cafeteria and fuel station, whilst across the road are McDonalds, K.F.C.,Pizza Hut, a Brewers Fayre and a Travelodge. There is also, nearby, a Texaco Station and a 4 star hotel called Thorpe Park.
