To reach this trailhead turn off US 150 at CR 250E (Grease Gravy Road) and follow it to the parking area.
Little Africa is what the locals call this approximately 2000 acres of Hoosier National Forest. The name Little Africa refers to an African American Settlement which existed here during the 1800s. The original name of the community was Paddy's Garden.
The Lick Creek Trail has a total length of 7.5 miles with a 5.2 mile loop. This section of the trail is wide, stoned and runs along the ridge top. It is excellent for Hiking, Mt. biking or Horseback riding anytime of year.
