This cache is placed in a part of Darien we call "The Red Headed Step Child of Darien". This is a section of Darien that seems to be forgotten and neglected by the town. Granted, they do a good job of protecting the area and plowing the streets but...it's only taken 15 years to put in a park for the children to play in and it would be nice to clean up one of the only ponds in the area...hence the name!
Enjoy the small wooded area, be careful during the spring and summer months, this is a well traveled area for the teens in the neighborhood. Many residents do some fishing also, our son has caught some small Bluegill out of this pond.
Have fun, beware of muggles!!
