Introduction
The published coordinates are bogus but do indicate the general region of the city where the cache is located.
(Note: This is an old cache that I adopted. It is a Mystery. However, the final is slightly over 3.2km from the listed coordinates. If it was submitted for Publishing today, it would be classed as a Multi.)
The clues for this cache consist of brief descriptions of three randomly chosen residences from which you will have to determine their exact locations. Once you have found these locations, you are ready to tackle the next stage of this cache.
Your only clues to the location of the cache are the straight-line distances (as the crow flies) from each of these residences to the cache.

Address: _3 Mc Gregor St, Middle Park
Feature: Edwardian Brick, front window divided into three verticals, each topped with a circular segmented decoration.
Distance: 4.71 Km
Residence #2
Address: _ Gaynor Ct, Malvern
Feature: Double-storey house with short slate driveway in front of a cream coloured garage door.
Distance: 4.84 Km
Residence #3
Address: _4 Clarke St, Prahran
Feature: Block of flats with high rendered wall with letter boxes 5,6,7 & 8 facing the street.
Distance: 4.57 Km
Notes:
- These properties were randomly chosen as reference points for the cache location. They are not otherwise significant.
- The people living at these residences know nothing of geocaching. Do not hassle them or enter their properties.
- The distance measurements are from the centre of the front fences on the footpath.
- The last digit of the street number is shown for two residences to reduce the search area.
The Cache
The cache is a 200ml sistema box containing a log book and a small pencil. It might be wise to BYO pen in case the pencil goes missing..
Some notes regarding the final cache location:
- The cache is within easy reach, so don't climb over any fences. You will need to kneel.
- Be on the lookout for muggles in this exposed area.
- Return the cache to the exact place you found it.
- Please make sure the container is well hidden before you leave.
Additional Note:
The cache was originally placed by Mr Schnoobley, who is no longer an active cacher. I have adopted it from him as I feel that it's a nicely conceived cache and worthy of being maintained.
The checker has a 30m margin and will give you the correct coordinates and further hints.
