Nice easy walk along the old railroad bed. Years ago it went all the way across the marsh, Herring River and the North River to Damons Point.
Park between Dunkin Donuts and Schoolbus Lane. This small strip of land belonging to the Scituate Conservation Commission and will lead you to a view of the marsh. The trail ends at the Herring River. As you walk along look at both sides and see how industry has grown, with a nice little trail to the cache between! Near the end on the left you will notice the remediation of industrial dumping area. No clue is needed, think like a geocacher and please replace the cache just like you found it.
Rumor has it that this area is going to be spruced up as part of the Greenbush Commuter Rail project!
