Geocache Description:

North of Highway 60, across the highway from County Rd 3123

While building this 8 miles of barbed wire fence, we spent lunch time exploring the area. This oasis became one of our favorite spots out there. We call it the "Waterdog hole", but the last few years they seem to have left. These rocky cracks in the landscape make for interesting exploring. We watched a noisy crow's nest one time, and what we think were fledgling Ospeys in a nest another time.

The "waterdog hole" is 2.5 miles from the turnoff at N34 14.407 W109 30.667. The cache coordinates were taken on top of the cliff since the GPS bounces down below. If you walk a little futher north there is an easier pathway down.

Pickup trucks seem to draw the locals looking for handouts.
