Geocache Description:

easily accessible cache, not too far off the national highway

This cache is located in an area credited with the largest tidal fluctuations on the east coast of Australia(>6m)...and as a result, the view from this location could be either mud or water, and lots of it. (Tide always seems to be out, whenever I visit - maybe if the time and tides are right, someone could take a picture, when the tide is in.)

The nearby town has a long history, and at the end of the 19th century, it was a major port for transporting goods to and from Brisbane, to the minefields around Clermont. (which must have been tuff given the coastline and tidal range). Not much left there now, but you can still get a cool drink and something to eat, from the store or hotel. No public toilets at site, but available in town.

...microcache - so you'll need your own pen...
