Happy Elvis
Why is Elvis happy? Because he has just visited this cache.
This cache and its partners in Northeast Ohio,
Venus de Smilo and Gasport, New York
I Can See Four sMiles, are both
dedicated to cacher
Chris K. Chris has been caching
since May 2005. Shortly after Chris joined the geocaching world,
smiley balls began popping up in caches all over Northeast Ohio. We
collect other cachers’ swag and traded for the first one we saw.
After a while we decided to start trading for all the smiley balls
we found in caches Chris had visited. Why? We did it to place this
cache.
This cache requires no trades from you. To log this smiley, you
only need to visit the cache, sign the log, and take a smiley item.
The cache contains two types of smiley’s, Chris K’s signature
smiley balls and small smiley magnets. When Chris realized what we
were doing, he was kind enough to provide us two boxes of these
happy trade items. The sad news is that the smiley balls are no
longer available so we will not be able to reload the cache with
this item many times.
If you have already collected one of the smiley balls, please
leave those for other cachers who have not traded for one. You are
welcome to take a smiley magnet. We will continue to replenish the
cache with smiley magnets and other smiley items once the smiley
balls are gone. When you sign the log, there are smiley stickers in
the cache so leave a smiley in the log for the cacher following
you.
Geocaching is a fun game. Please enjoy this cache. We do hope
you have a nice day.
The cache is located in the woods a short walk from the road.
There is a place to pull off the road very near to the cache. While
searching for the cache, you should be fairly invisible to muggles.
We want everyone to find this cache, but it is a typical geo-hide
to prevent it from being found by accident.
Good Luck and have some fun. There is a special smiley First To
Find Keychain in the cache.
Congratulations to Pirate & Crafty for this
cache's First To Find!
