Geocache Description:

Geitner CITO by NC Foothills Geocachers - Sunday April 23rd, Noon until the trash is cleaned up.

The North Carolina Geocachers Organization (NCGO) is sponsoring a number of Cache In, Trash Out events across the state this weekend. The idea is for cachers throughout North Carolina to help clean up parks (1.) because we can and (2.) because positive PR is always a good thing.

NC Foothills adopted John "Bud" Geitner park last year in an effort to help keep the parks clean and enjoyable, along with the PR factor.

In a joint effort with the NC Geocachers.org website NCFoothills-geocachers.com have decided to help participate in the State Wide CITO Effort.

In order for all the events to go smoothly with lots of folks to help the Foothills event at Geitner will Start at Noon on Sunday April 23rd.

We are obligated to 7 more CITO's at Geitner over the next 2 years. Look for these about every 3 or 4 months.

As more information becomes available I will add to the page. There will likely be food, door prizes, hard work, and good times. Please log a "Will Attend" as soon as possible so that we can get a better head count.

Mrs. Parrothead will be the local contact. We will not add any caches to the area but there are plenty around the general area.
