Geocache Description:

Although I have a hard time sometimes remembering important things at work or at home, I seem to have no trouble at all recalling silly trivia from one of the great mindless TV shows of all time – the original Gilligan’s Island. I would very much like to purge this nonsense from my brain, but year after year it remains locked in there, occupying space that I would like to devote to anything but that. This cache is my attempt to finally set that trivia free.

The posted coordinates are for parking, and there are unpaved lots on either side of the street. The round-trip distance is a little over one mile, and the terrain is flat and easy except for the last 100 feet or so. This is the first cache that I have placed, so any comments or suggestions are welcome.

You will need to correctly answer the easy questions below in order to determine the actual coordinates of the cache. That is only part of the battle, though. Save the answers to all of the questions and bring them with you to the cache. You will need them there.

FTF prize is a $10 Gift Card from Skipper’s Seafood and Chowder House.

A bit of bonus Gilligan’s island trivia for you: The lyrics of “Amazing Grace” may be sung to the tune from the “Gilligan’s Island” theme song. Check it out.
