A cache to get while you are out to paint the town red!

The Chinese perceive red as a colour for prosperity. Being the colour of life-giving blood, it signifies vibrancy as well. Hence, red is a hue commonly seen on festive occasions.

In some parts of Africa, red sets the tone for mourning and war. The Zulus view red with mixed feelings – it is the colour for both blessing and misfortune.

History has often been written in red – Mao's Little Red Book revolutionized the face of modern China; while Hitler's swastika once shone sinisterly against its red banner.

Today, the world's fascination with red lives on in the meanings we attach to that bold, definitive colour: To be 'in the red' spells trouble for businesses; whilst red, luscious lips ooze seduction in a lady.

This cache celebrates our idiosyncrasy to red. It is located at a red house in a red-hot city district, best to be found on a red-letter day (when muggles are least around). Seek out a micro container with log inside.
