This will be a planning event for the South East Texas Geocaching Team and a meet and greet for newcomers and veterans alike. This is the perfect place to get answers for any questions you might have regarding the Texas Challenge ’06 or geocaching in general. Even if you can't attend the challenge, come join us and put faces with names. The event will be hosted in the lodge of Gander Mountain on the left side of the building from 2-4 p.m., and may continue at a nearby restaurant as there will be no food and drinks allowed in the lodge. The store is well equipped for all your geocaching needs and also has caches to find nearby, if you are so inclined.
This Gander Mountain can be seen from I-45 and is easily accessible to those traveling from out of town. Bring your enthusiasm and help us kick off this year’s event on the right foot. We all look forward to the new format, which should foster healthy competition in a positive and fun environment. Be sure to bring your travel bugs and geocoins to swap and help Snoogans make 1000 “trackables”!
