Geocache Description:

Once upon a time San Felipe's westward journey stopped at Voss road. Someone thought it would be a good idea if it continued beyond the confines of Voss, so they built it to the limits of the City of Houston. Which, if you don't already know was the middle of Buffalo Bayou. So they built some road, moved the bayou, built a bridge, and built some more road. Unfortunately someone forgot to ask the city of Piney Point if they wanted San Felipe to connect on the other side. So there the road sat, "the road to nowhere" while lawyers fought it out. Eventually things settled down and the San Felipe was connected. But it didn't add more than half a mile, it didn't make it past Kinkaid Drive. The connection to Memorial would have to wait.

Parking is available at the woodsedge.

Congratulations to maggieb for the FTF.

Due to the difficulties, I rechecked the coordinates and have updated them. Good luck.
