Geocache Description:

Located at the Cimarron Valley Golf Course this cache has been placed with permission and assistance from the Superintendent, and the president of the board.

This is one of the most beautiful locations in southwest Kansas especially during sunset or sunrise; if you look to the west of the cache you will be able to see the longest bridge over a dry river! We are bless with this course because of land donated by LouEthel Ungles and many hours of donated labor emerged one of the finest and most challenging golf courses in southwest Kansas. Completed in 1995, this 9-hole course is nestled in a scenic valley with views of the prairie in nearly every direction. It is located 3½ miles southwest of Satanta on Highway 56. Cache is outside the fence to the golf course and can be accessed 24/7. Parking is availble off the highway in the grassy area by the limestone sign. Cache contains log book, pencil, and golf items for trade! Please trade golf items if possible. Also contains a first to find coin.
