Geocache Description:

Sited on a 1.7 mile circular walk.

This area was used as a huge camp during WW2 by Canadian soldiers in the run up to D Day.
Park in the (free) National Trust car park in Webb Road at N51.09.454 W000.40.117.
If you follow the RED markers from the NT hut the path will take you on a 1.7 mile circular walk that runs right past the cache.
The open area next to the cache was the camp parade square during the war.
In keeping with the name and spirit of the cache I have filled it with a variety of "soldierly" goodies. It would be nice if any swaps had a similar theme (no matter how tenuous).you are looking for a 35mm screw top film cannister, happy hunting.
