How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Visit KYOWVA WebSite

On April 15th we will meet at the top of the tunnel
in Ironton at 3 o'clock pm. The game will run until
7pm. In those 4 hours you will be searching all around the
Ironton area high and low and collecting clues and points
for your team.

It could be raining or Snowing but that will just add to
the hardness and fun of the game :O) Other wise the game
will go on April 15th

This is a 4 hour point event.

Things You need to know:

1) All team members must stay together. You can have as
many on your team that will fit into one car or You may split up into teams.

2) You will need to bring a note pad, pen, Compass (You
can buy one for less than 3 bucks) unless you have a true compass on your GPS.

3) Something warm to put on. Being in April, When the sun
goes down and being by River, It will become a little
nippy outside.

4) Our infamous Lead Pipe Trophy for the first place team

5) For those of you who found a Golden Egg, You may want
to bring them with you. Golden Eggs we placed in Caches
all over Ohio last year.

6) As always: FREE!

7) We will meet after the event for something to eat and
chat about Geocaching. We will update this page when we
have a place to eat.

8) Starting March 1st you will find some hints to help you
find some bonus points
