Geocache Description:

Food, Fun, Caches, And Good Time!

Well, we're throwing down the gauntlet!!!
The NELA Geocachers will be holding their FIRST Event! Yeah! Event will be at a wonderful park in West Monroe. The above Coordinates are to the front gates of the park. Drive to the pay window and get your slip that will
give you the actual coordinates inside the park (we will have already paid your way into the park).

The days events will include a Cookout (BYOA Bring your own armchair), New caches so you can get some Smiles. Old Caches, so you can turn that frown upside down. Event Caches, Kids only Cache, and an Event Only Multistage Mystery Cache. We will have food on the grill and topping off the day Geocaching 101 for our new cachers in the area.

Plenty of hotels in the area so if you are staying overnight be prepared to do some night caching. Hotels are on restaurant row! (There is a cache at one of the hotels)

Time : 10 am to 4pm
