Vila de Rosais
Existindo como freguesia já em 1568 foi, por longos tempos, considerado o Celeiro da Ilha em virtude da grande fertilidade de seus terrenos hoje, na sua maioria, transformados em pastagens. Este agregado populacional foi berço de diversas personalidades que se salientaram culturalmente, como é o caso recente do "Silveirinha", mantém uma filarmónica, um grupo folclórico e no passado teve diversos agrupamentos que se evidenciaram na produção de Comédias. A ilha, nesta zona é essencialmente planaltica apresentando espectaculares escarpas, de que a Ponta dos Rosais complementada pelas Ruínas do Farol são o exemplo. No lugar das Sete Fontes realiza-se uma interessante festa em honra dos emigrantes. A visão da Fajã de João Dias recompensa uma curta caminhada de 5 minutos.
Sete Fontes
Em 1963 foi iniciada a reconversão dos terrenos baldios das Sete Fontes, em aprazível parque florestal, onde para além de viveiros de plantas, alguns lagos, diversões infantis e mesas disseminadas por entre o arvoredo convidam ao contacto com a natureza. Junto a uma pequena capela construída na década de 1970 existe a primitiva "pia baptismal" da igreja de Rosais e uma réplica de um bote baleeiro construído como monumento ao emigrante.

Vila de Rosais
Since 1568, for a long time, it has been called Island’s Barn do to his very fertile lands, that now a days, the majority, are transformed in to pastures. These lands have been the home-land for many personalities, those who have strongly established in the Cultural World, a recent case “Silveirinha”, a folkloric group and several groups that we consider responsible for the production of “Comédias”. This island, in this area is essentially plan showing spectacular slopes, which “Ponta dos Rosais” and the ruins of the lighthouse are an example of it. At “Sete Fontes”, ever year, a festival is carry out in honour of the emigrants and also the sight over “Fajã of João Dias” rewards the 5 minute walk.
Sete Fontes
In 1963 begin the transformation of the uncultivated fields of “Sete Fontes” into a pleasant forest park, where besides nurseries, some lakes, amusement parks and diffused tables between the trees, invite us enjoy the nature. Next to a small chapel built during the 1970th, lays “Rosais” church primitive font and a replica of a whaler ship built as a monument for the emigrant.
