The cache is located in Crystal Lake Park located one half mile north of Crystal Lake, Iowa. I have received permission from the Hancock County Conservation Board and this cache is registered with them. The geocache area is a Cache In Trash Out (CITO) area.
After you find the cache, I strongly recommend that you check out Crystal Lake Park or even spend a weekend there! Managed by the Hancock County Conservation Board, Crystal Lake Park is a 144 acre park that is located on the east shoreline of the 260 acre Crystal Lake. It offers primitive/modern camping, rental cabins, areas for hiking, horseshoe pits, basketball court, swimming beach, boating, fishing, picnic shelter and a neat nine hole frisbee golf course!
