Geocache Description:

A gentle woodland stroll, you could probably get a sturdy pushchair to the cache if walking from Tullecombe

We have chosen this name as this cache is hidden very close to the UK home of a certain very rich Russian premiership football club owner.
Much of the land around the cache site is owned by him. On a Saturday in the football season you can often see his helicopter flying low overhead as it either departs for or returns from Stamford Bridge.
We love this part of the countryside and at certain times of the year you will be able to understand why. Please be very considerate of any “neighbours”
It can be very eerie hiking through the woods that border his land especially at night as you can see and hear the security cameras as they follow you! There are lots of lovely circular walks in this area, and we have seen many deer, rabbits, badgers foxes, squirrels and woodpeckers in the woods. It is also possible to see adders basking (if you know where to look). In the autumn there are an abundance of chestnuts to be picked up.
The best parking for the cache is at Tullecombe N51 01 377 W 000 50 955 although it is possible to get a bit closer. Alternatively you could walk up from Rogate village.
Close by are the market towns of Petersfield and Midhurst and the Jolly Drover pub at Hill Brow(Liss) does lovely home made food (but does not take credit or debit cards!)
