This is on the new Mickinnick Trail off Woodland Dr. Parking coords are: N48° 18.637 W116° 34.078.

This is just a short way up the trail. After the first good overlook of Sandpoint you will walk into a quiet cedar forest. As you head up the trail and into the light of day again you will find this one nestled a bed of moss.
