trading cards galore III Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

page1995: On March 9th, I reported taking this cache home to clean up the contents. However, I have decided instead to close this cache permanently and re-open it somehwere else under a new listing at some future date. I decided to do this because: 1) I was dissapointed last year with all the mud and shrubbery that accumulated there last year making it difficult and messy to access the cache. While this may not pose a problem for experienced cachers, it is for kids and I meant this to be for them as well. 2) Having any cache for kids beside a canal is never a good idea. 3) Getting my car up that road from Maple Grove to that cache has been increasingly hard. So, thank you everyone for making this cache so much fun. See you around for "trading cards galore IV"!

Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the same path as "Rolling Stone View", but is closer to where you can park your car (unless you prefer to walk there....).

20 FEB 2006: Welcome to the 3rd location of our cache that is based on the same theme. The 1st location was on beautiful Whidbey Island in 2004 (search for waypoint GCJ2WK). The 2nd location was in Ingleside, Texas (search for waypoint GCN8YG).

We love this hobby because it combines our love for games with our love for collecting and our love for the outdoors all in one. This cache is hidden mainly to appeal to treasure hunters of all ages, so it is VERY easy to find. You will find in the cache several samples of my trading card collection. I LOVE TO TRADE!!! So, if you take one of the items out, please replace it with another. If you don't have cards of your own to put back in, THAT'S OK. Surprise me or the next treasure hunter with some unexpected fun item. If you have nothing - TAKE SOMETHING ANYWAY. I will check the cache on a regular basis so new stuff will always be there within the week. Make sure you sign the log book (which includes entries from when it was hidden in WA)! Happy hunting!!

One more thing: Please make every effort to ensure it is well hidden after you find it. Please use the available rocks (Hint 1) to ensure it is out of view (Trading Cards Galore II was badly muggled because of poor hiding). Please email me if you come across any problems. Thanks.

16 JUN 2006: CAUTION.....after rainfail, there will be standing water facing the spot where I have hidden the cache, so please be careful if you choose to comb the bank to get to the cache to avoid getting wet.

12 AUG 2006: See my log entry for 12 Aug 2006 for new items added to the cache....
