Cache is located near the rafting take out ramp on the Salt River, on HWY 288, outside of Globe, AZ. Take HWY 188 north out of Globe to HWY 288. Park near the bridge over the Salt River. Take reading from there. Hike may require some class 3 scrambling. Be cautious of the Teddy Bear Cholla. They are not as cuddly as their name!
Cache is traditional. It is a 3" x 12" round plastic welding rod container. It contains a log book and a disposible camera. When all frames are exposed, please email me at dsjarman@cableone.net. It also contains a travel bug. See desciption for the bug.
