Seat's Dam is a swimming spot for the local youth. This area is Forest Service property and heavily used in the summer so please re-hide the cache with care.
Local historians say this dam was built to irrigate a local ranch and in most recent history has been used by Rough & Ready Lumber Company to wet their logs. Mendenhall Creek is pretty this time of year.
Some high school friends of Mrs. BL's stopped by and we decided to take a drive to this swimming spot that Mrs. BL hadn't been to in 30+ years. It was a fun afternoon and we hope to go on more exploring trips to hide caches.
This is a REAL cache, ammo can no less. The contents are courtesy of SallyC which we won at the last pizza event. It's complete with a log book and pencil. A first finder will be provided!
