Cache is approximately 9 miles WNW of the City of McMinnville at an elevation of 2441 ft. It is not too far off of the road but in an area that is not maintained. The roads getting to the cache site are for the most part well maintained but not for passenger cars. The cache is not buried but may be under a few native items. Best of luck and above all try to catch the view on an adequately clear day.
The Cache is in a green ammo can, it contains a log book, golf ball, sunglasses, and many other goodies. We placed the cache on one of the clearest days of the year and could see 9 major snow covered peaks in the Oregon/Washington Cascades; truely a treat to see. Try and make your trip on a very clear day and see if you can see (North to South) Mt. Raineer, Mt. Saint Helens, Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood, Mt. Jefferson, Three Fingered Jack, North Sister, Middle Sister, and South Sister.
Elevation of the cache is 2441 ft as reported by a Garmin eTrex Venture, WGS 84 WAAS Enabled, 8 foot accuracy
