Ein Multi durch eine der ältesten und schönsten römischen Städte Deutschlands. Eine Reise durchs mittelalterliche Ladenburg. Die Stationen bewegen sich größtenteils auf einem Rundweg durch die Altstadt - vorbei an Meilensteinen der Jahrhunderte alten Geschichte der Stadt.
Die einzelnen Stationen sind relativ leicht zu finden, es muss jedoch ein wenig gerechnet werden. In der Nähe des Startpunktes finden sich Parkplätze (z.B. an N49 28.117 E008 36.348), die Stationen können gut zu Fuß (auch mit Kinderwagen, am Final allerdings ist je nach Bewuchs ein wenig körperlicher Einsatz notwendig) oder mit dem Fahrrad erreicht werden. Der Multi kann in 1 Stunde gelöst werden, auch bei Nacht - dann ist allerdings eine Taschenlampe erforderlich. Auch wenn es sich um einen (Alt-)stadtcache handelt, liegt das Final im Grünen und kann - je nach Jahreszeit - etwas verwildert oder unter Wasser sein.

Aus welchem Jahr (=A) nach Christus stammt das „Römische Gesims vom Steinkastell“?
Station 2: N49 28.254 E008 36.501
Nur wenige Schritte entfernt ist schon die nächste Station. Finde heraus in welchem Jahr (=B) nach Christus die Alamannen die Stadt zerstört haben? Notiert Euch B, Ihr braucht es auch für das Finale. Gehe nun entlang des Rundwegs zu Station 3.
Station 3: N49 28.254 E008 36.(B*2+A+1)
In welchem Jahr (Quersumme = C) wurde das Eckhaus (mit den grünen Fensterläden) gebaut? Vorbei an den ältesten Häusern und Gaststätten erreichst Du Station 4.
Station 4: N49 28.336 E008 36.652
Vier glitschige Gesellen speihen hier Wasser? Schau in die Richtung der größten Uhr in Deiner Umgebung, dann entdeckst Du an einer Hauswand Symbole mit Jahreszahlen. Welche Jahreszahl (Quersumme = D) steht unter der Vase?
Station 5: N49 28.(A*4+C+D) E008 36.(B*3–C*3)
Schau an der Position in Richtung Nord-Ost und Du entdeckst die Reste einer Häuserwand. Wieviele Halbmond-förmige Fensterausschnitte (Anzahl + 4 = E) sind in dieser einzelnen Wand zu erkennen? Genau hinter Dir ist eine grüne Häuserwand, die ebensoviele vergitterte Fenster im Erdgeschoss enthält.
Alternative als back-up, allerdings mit Umweg verbunden: Gehe zu N49 28.(C*D+24) E008 36.(A*4+D*2) – am langen, runden Ding ist eine Zahl, addiere die beiden ersten Ziffern und ziehe die letzte ab, dann erhältst Du ebenfalls E.
Station 6: N49 28.(B+A-9) E008 36.569
An Station 6 steht ein bronzenes Tier, ca. 3-4 m hinter dem Tier ist ein Torbogen mit einer Jahreszahl – wie lautet diese Zahl (Quersumme = F)?
Station 7:N49 28.(B-F+2) E008 36.310
Ein kleines Bauwerk,das das erste seiner Art auf der Welt war - sozusagen ein "moderner Pferdestall". Gesucht ist die 3 te Jahreszahl auf der Infotafel (das Jahr, indem das Grundstück erworben wurde). (=G)?
Jetzt geht es zum Final – doch vorher heißt es noch einmal rechnen! Der Cache ist eine kleine Plastikdose in einem Vogelhäuschen, getarnt im Grünen.
Final: N49 28.G - ((3 x A) + (5 x B) + C + D + E + F) E008 36.((B - A)+ 1)
Hinweis zum Final: die Location kann gut von Muggeln umgeben sein. Am Final könnte Zeckengefahr bestehen. Ach - und bei Hochwasser ist er nicht machbar. Zum Öffnen benötigt Ihr B. Tarnt bitte die Dose wieder gut mit Grünzeug.

This multi takes you on in the heart of one of Germany’s nicest and oldest roman towns. A journey through the medieval Ladenburg! The multi guides you on a round trip through the old town passing several milestones of this town’s century-old history.
All waypoints can be easily found, though you will have to calculate a little bit while you are approaching the final. Leave your car at one of the parking lots close to the starting point (e.g. at N49 28.117 E008 36.348); all waypoints are easily accessible for pedestrians (well suited for baby-strollers- only seasonal near the final you will need a little strenght) or biker. Although this is a typicall City-Cache, the final is hidden under a tree and may confront you with more "nature" than expected. You will need 1 hour for this multi, can be done at night with a torch.

In which year (sum of the digits = C) was the house at the corner build (the one with the green window shields)? On your way to waypoint 4 you will pass some of the oldest buildings and restaurants in town.
Waypoint 4: N49 28.336 E008 36.652
Four rather slippery buddies are spitting water here. Look in the direction of the largest clock in you vicinity and you will discover a number of symbols with different years printed on the wall of a house. Which year is close to the vase (sum of the digits = D)?
Waypoint 5: N49 28.(A*4+C+D) E008 36.(B*3–C*3)
At this position watch in the direction north-east and you will discover the remainings of an old wall. How many half-moon shaped windows (no glass inside) do you count in this wall. In your back you will find at the same time a greenish wall of a house that contains the same number of small windows in the ground floor (protected by metal bars). (half-moon shaped windows + 4 = E)?
Alternatively you can use this as a back-up, although you’ll have to pay with a slight unnecessary detour: Go to N49 28.(C*D+24) E008 36.(A*4+D*2) – a four digit number can be found on the long, round thing, add the first two digits and subtract the last digit (= E).
Waypoint 6: N49 28.(B+A-9) E008 36.569
An animal made of steel is waiting here, 3-4 m behind you’ll find a round archway with a sign on the top. Which year is printed in the sign (sum of the digits = F)?
Waypoint 7: N 49 28 .(B - F +2) E008 36.310
A building that is the first of its kind in the world – so to say a “modern horse stable”!. You need the 3rd date of the year (the year this area was bought).(= G)?
Now you are ready for the final! The cache is in an bird house between the green!

. During summer the final location may be surrounded by muggles. Only the final might expose you to ticks - be careful and check you clothing after you have logged your visit. The Cache is not available by high water. You need B to open. Please cover the cache careful.
