Geocache Description:

A short walk up a path in the Lucas Valley Homeowners' Association open space, past their stables.

This is where my daughter (aka puppyluv) used to take her horseback riding lessons, and she wanted to place a horse-related cache here.

You can park at the end of Rubicon to access the trail. Thre used to be a cache at the top of the hill, but it is now archived. Faunus Crosses the Rubicon.

The cache container is a 3" tall pill bottle.

update 04/11There is now a 3 foot long welding rod taped to the container to aid in its retrieval. It tended to roll to places that are way out of sight.

further update 08/23It is a pill bottle, but has a 3 foot long welding rod taped to it so it won't roll into a hidden corner of the tree.

There are two horse themed quarters (Kentucky and Delaware) for FTF. There are other odds and ends, as well as a Lego horse.

The terrain rating could be higher after a heavy rain.
