The Cache is in an exposed position, not at the coordinates given above (where you can park your car). Suitable clothing and boots are essential.
Time to sharpen your navigation skills. First you have to find a prominent stone object. There are several in the area, this is the major one and can be seen from at least two miles away (when it isn't snowing).
In true letterboxing manner, you can find it by using three bearings, all from True North, and using OSGB36 Datum: Penistone Hill Pillar (Waypoint TP5377)................... 162.5 deg.
High Brown Knoll Pillar (Waypoint TP3775)................ 48.3 deg.
Soil Hill Connecting Point Pillar (Waypoint TP6052).... 286.7 deg.
Once you've found the stone object, the cache is 13.5m at a bearing of 320 deg. In it, you'll find all the usual goodies, AND a rubber stamp (ready inked) for you to record your achievement in your Letterboxing Logbook. Please don't take the stamp as a swap!! To crown your day, there's a trig point not far away across the waste.
